Easy League Management
League Man is written by league managers & players, for league managers & players. We're delivering a simpler experience with no app to download and no account necessary for players. Whether you're managing a league or gathering a small group of friends, organizers simply create an event, invite players by sharing the link, and run the session from any browser.
You'll love our ladder league formats for keeping games competitive and like-skilled players together!
The session "Home" is where league managers can view & edit session details, invite players, and start and end the session. League managers simply send a link to the session home to players so they can RSVP and see their matches at game time.
The "Players" tab allows league managers and players to view who's attending and see each players' up-to-date rank in the ladder. This is also where players can edit their RSVP, leave the session early, or sit out a round just by tapping on their name.
The "Rounds" tab shows you all the matches within a round. This is where players will find their courts, partners, and opponents. It's also where league managers or players can enter scores and see results. Once all scores are in, the league manager can end the round and create a new one.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How can I create an account?
- Account creation will be available to oragnizers soon. There are no plans to create player accounts. Players simply fill out a short form to join a session. If you run a league and you're interested in early access send us a message.
- Why am I stuck on a court?
- Traditional league formats move both winners up a court and both losers down a court. But this results in players on neighboring courts bypassing each other resulting in uneven matchups. Our algorithm moves players more slowly to keep games competitive and like-skilled players together. If you are not winning or losing repeatedly you are probably on the right court for your skill level so you may not change courts after a single win or loss. While a single win or loss on a court may cause you to change courts, winning or losing twice in a row on the same court will usually result in moving up or down a court. Higher ranked players coming in after a bye or going out on bye may bump you to a neighboring court or keep you on the same court, but you still have the same rank in the ladder (which you can see at any time from the "Players" tab). For the best player experience we recommend capping the number of players at 5 times the number of courts e.g. 20 players on 4 courts, 30 players on 6 courts, etc.
- How can I change my RSVP?
- Tap on your name in the "Players" tab to edit your RSVP, sit out the next round, or leave the session early. It is against our terms to edit another player's status without their consent.
- Where is my session?
- League managers can access sessions they have created from the navigation menu when they are logged in. Players can access their sessions via a link from their league manager.
- What's my rating?
- Check out our Self Rating Guide. A good rule of thumb is to use the level you'd sign up for if you were to enter a tournament. If you have not had to rate yourself before, you're probably between 2.0 - 3.0.
- What session types are supported?
- Check out our guide to Session Types. You'll love our ladder league formats for keeping games competitive and like-skilled players together!
